Until December 2019, insurance products made in Advise were attached to the insurer MAPFRE. After his withdrawal from the French market at the end of 2019, Advise has signed a new partnership with the mutual insurer Mutuaide, subsidiary of Groupama which has 12 million active members.
Thereby, all active contracts must have been migrated from the old to the new insurer. This change has had many consequences. The migration of MAPFRE to Mutuaide is a sensitive operation, which was carried out in three times and mobilized the business teams, IT, marketing and sales between January and October 2020. Thus, all customers’ contracts migrated were the subject of a communication either by mail, sms or letter when it’s impossible to contact the customer by the first two means.
As a reminder, this new partnership with Mutuaide has allowed us to develop the new version of Parachut Protection, which integrates the coverage of new product universes and the extension to appliances and equipment under 36 months versus 12 months previously. If for many customers the price of the subscription has increased, they now have access to new extended guarantees : theft and loss as well as the possibility of insuring several devices and equipment.
